Featuring jewel-tone colors of garnet, peacock blue, and bright coral,this design by Avlea is similar to many varieties of folk embroideries from as far north as Russia to as far south as Crete. The diamond-and-arrow design is very striking and shows how a simple border makes a bold and eye-catching embroidery.
This design is available as a printed pattern only (you provide the fabric and thread) or as a full kit. The kit includes thread plus traditional Greek cotton fabric which has an open weave and a lovely soft hand.
