Snow Deer Cross Stitch Pattern

This cross stitch design by Lesley Teare is full of simplicity and natural charm. There is a single tiny touch of red, a bead for the nose of the reindeer, and the rest is only stitched in white on a natural linen fabric background. You can substitute a French Knot or cross stitch for the bead if desired.

The design is available as a printed hardcopy pattern. 

Pattern details:

• Stitching area: 84 stitches wide x 84 stitches high
• Finished size: 6" x 6" on 14-count Aida or 28-count linen
• Thread: DMC
• Model was stitched on 32-count linen. Either 14-count Aida in Raw (10"x18") or 28-count Cashel linen in Raw (13"x18") would be a suitable alternative.
• Types of stitches: Cross stitch, Back stitch, French knot
