Dropcloth Samplers Hand Embroidery Pattern - Color Wheel Sampler

This sampler pattern designed by artist Rebecca Ringquist is like a coloring book for embroidery, and it's a great way to learn new stitches. The sampler comes preprinted on cotton fabric, and has a hand-painted look (notice the orange drip and blended colors). It features 12 different stitches, one for each segment of the wheel, for you to discover, practice, and master. You'll be left with a work of art to hang on your wall, and a reference point for future embroidery projects.

Please note that instructions for the various stitches are not included, so this project is best for adventurous stitchers who are willing to seek out tutorials and other guidance.

The thread colors you use are up to you. Pull colors from your stash, or choose one of our curated DMC color palettes for a coordinated look.
