A Quaker Medallion Cross Stitch Pattern

This small design by Modern Folk Embroidery features an octagonal motif reminiscent of traditional Quaker samplers. Inside the medallion is an arrangement of eight stylized carnations. Since carnations are often used to symbolize love, this pattern would make a special wedding or anniversary gift.

Thread color is not specified in the pattern, so you are free to choose whatever you would like! Stitch the whole design in a single color for a monochrome look, or change things up with a palette of your favorite hues. You will need approximately 1 or 2 skeins of floss for the entire piece.
