Sought after by needleworkers across the globe, kits by the Danish Handcraft Guild, or Haandarbejdets Fremme, are truly something special. Established in 1928 to promote Danish textile art, the Guild has worked with noted Danish artists over the years to produce a range of iconic designs.
Imported from Denmark, this kit features heirloom-quality materials, including beautiful 100% linen and genuine Danish Flower Thread. Danish Flower Thread is a matte cotton thread that has been produced in Denmark since the early 1900's in a range of soft, muted colors. It is a non-divisible thread, meaning you do not separate it into strands like you do regular floss. Because of its tight twist, and the fact that it is a single strand, Danish Flower Thread makes very tidy, even cross stitches.
The finished design measures approximately 7-7/8" x 7-7/8".
