Made from 100% virgin wool, DMC Tapestry Wool is a deliciously soft, smooth non-divisible yarn. Its twist and thickness give it excellent coverage and provides a smooth and even texture.
Tapestry wool is typically worked on a larger mesh canvas (sizes 10 to 14). It's recommended that you work with yarn lengths no longer than 18-20" to prevent fraying and wearing while stitching.
Each skein contains 8.7 yards.
