Sashiko is a traditional form of Japanese embroidery that uses a basic running stitch to create repeating patterns. This 100% cotton navy blue panel has the design pre-printed on it, so it's easy to know just where to stitch. The printing washes out when you are done stitching.
At just under 13 inches square, the cloth can be used as a dishcloth, finished as a pillow or tote, or combined with other panels as part of a larger project.
The package contains the fabric panel only. Sashiko thread, needles, and a thimbleare recommended and sold separately.
