When I began designing cross stitch patterns in 2012 for my company Red Gate Stitchery, there was not much in the way of modern cross stitch. Since then, the craft has exploded, with new designers creating a vast and exciting catalog of contemporary patterns.
I created Stitched Modern to help bring these modern cross stitch designs to a wider audience. I also wanted to make cross stitch more accessible by making it easy to find supplies and instruction.
