Shipping and Policies
We currently offer shipping to destinations in the U.S., Canada, and select international locations, including Australia and New Zealand. At the moment we are unable to ship to the UK and Europe.
We ship every weekday from our shop in Massachusetts. Due to additional precautions designed to keep you and our staff safe, your order may take longer than normal to put together. We know you are excited to receive your stitchy goodies, so rest assured we are working as quickly as we safely can.
Please also be aware that increased shipping demand across the globe has caused occasional delays within our shipping partner networks. We primarily ship via USPS and occasionally UPS. You will receive a tracking number when your order ships so you can follow its progress, but please allow extra time for your order to arrive. Thanks in advance for your patience.
U.S. orders over $50 ship for FREE!
Orders less than $50 ship for a flat rate of $4.95.
In most cases orders are shipped from Massachusetts via the United States Postal Service. Depending on your location, delivery times can take 2-5 days, but is not guaranteed. Please note that Stitched Modern cannot be responsible for shipping delays beyond our control.
Orders typically ship the next business day
We do our best to get orders out quickly, and most orders ship within 24 hours. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will ship on the next business day.
During peak times and sales, shipping may be delayed. If your order is not going to ship within 48 hours, we will update you with an estimated ship date.
If your order is urgent please let us know and we will get right on it.

Most international orders will be shipped USPS First Class Package International Service, and typically take 1-3 weeks, but may take longer. Tracking information may not be available with this service.

In some cases, additional international shipping charges may apply. If so, we will contact you and let you know prior to shipping.
First Class International packages are not insurable, so unfortunately, Stitched Modern cannot be responsible for lost packages.
When your order ships, you will receive a customs tracking number. If your package is taking longer to arrive than expected, you can use the tracking number to contact your local customs office.
Customs fees are the responsibility of the buyer
Some countries may charge customs, duties, and/or taxes on shipments sent from the US. Any such charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
We want you to love your purchase! If for some reason you are not satisfied, we have a 30-day return policy. Returned items must be unopened and in their original condition and packaging and must not have a smoke or other odor to them.
Items purchased as a bundle and returned separately from their bundle will be refunded at their discounted (not full retail) price.
Due to copyright laws, printed patterns and books cannot be returned. This includes all cross stitch patterns, whether sold as part of a kit or separately. Sale items cannot be returned.
How to return an item
To arrange for a return, please email firstname.lastname@example.org for additional instructions.
Customers are responsible for return postage, and please be aware that the original shipping charges cannot be refunded. It is recommended that you insure your return shipment for its full value. Stitched Modern cannot be responsible for uninsured packages.
Your refund for the purchase price of the item will be issued back onto your original method of payment once the returned item(s) has been received by Stitched Modern.
If your items arrive damaged or defective, please contact email@example.com right away to arrange for an exchange. Please include photos of the damaged product. Please do not return your item directly to the manufacturer. We will happily reimburse all shipping costs incurred when returning damaged goods and will send replacement merchandise at no cost.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Paypal. We do not accept checks. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
Orders may only be placed via our website. We do not accept orders via email or phone.
We reserve the right to cancel any order placed on our website at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. A full refund will be issued at the time of order cancellation along with an email notification that the order has been canceled.
Massachusetts residents will be charged a sales tax of 6.25% according to state law.
Promo Codes and Coupons
Promo codes and coupons cannot be combined with other offers, discounts and/or promotions. Generally, only one promo code may be used per order. Some exclusions may apply. Each promo code is valid for a limited time only and expires on the date specified in the offer. Promo codes are subject to product availability.

We try very hard to get it right, but on occasion everyone makes a mistake. Prices and availability of products are subject to change without notice. Errors will be corrected where and when discovered. We reserve the right to revoke any stated offer, cancel orders, and to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions in any stated offer or price, including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your payment processed.
If your payment has been processed for the purchase when your order is cancelled, we will issue a credit to the payment method used in the amount of the charge. Individual bank policies will determine when this amount is credited to your account.
