This cotton thread from Japan is perfect for sashiko and other stitching projects. Made from 100% cotton, the thread is strong and soft with a traditional matte finish. It is similar in weight to #8 pearl cotton.
Each of these large skein contains 109 yards (100 meters). In addition to sashiko, this thread works well for decorative hand quilting, visible mending (boro), and hand embroidery.
Please note, the colors of the large skeins do not match corresponding colors of the smaller 22-yard skeins. To maintain color consistency, use either all large skeins for a particular color or all small skeins.
