Linen has a beautiful drape and open weave that is perfect for cross stitch and embroidery. This polka dot fabric would make a charming background for all types of designs. The background fabric color is similar to DMC embroidery floss #3782, and the red polka dots are similar to DMC #816.
The fabric is 32 count. Linen is commonly stitched over two threads, which would give you 16 stitches per inch, the equivalent of 16-count Aida. You can also stitch over 1 thread for 32 stitches per inch.
