C.F.A. Voysey Bird and Berry Cross Stitch Bookmark Kit
This counted cross stitch bookmark kit recreates Bird and Berry, a graceful design of deep blue birds among green leaves and bright red berries, first produced as a wallpaper in 1893. Stitching the pattern adds depth and texture to the original artwork, and the open background makes for a relaxed, enjoyable stitch. The finished bookmark is a charming gift for readers and nature lovers.
This kit is made by DMC, the French thread maker that has been producing embroidery floss since the 18th century, in partnership with the V&A in London, one of the world's great museums of art and design. C.F.A. Voysey was an English architect and designer whose wallpapers, fabrics, and furnishings helped define the Arts and Crafts style.
