This plastic cross stitch guage is a handy tool to have in your stitching bag. Lay it on your fabric to find out what the fabric count is, or use the stitch markings to see how big a pattern of a certain stitch size will be on various fabric counts. You can also use it to make sure your design is positioned correctly on a piece of fabric before you start stitching.
The gauge has markings on both sides. Use one side for fabric counts 11, 14, 16, 18, 22, and 25. Flip it over for fabric counts 26, 28, 30, 32, 36, and 40. It also has rulers in both inches and centimeters.
