Note: To center the motif on the tea towel, start with the blue part of the French flag at 8mm below the series of three horizontal lines and exactly on the central vertical line.
Once you have completed your stitching, it is important to soak this linen tea towels overnight before washing them for a first time. This will get rid of all the starch and make ironing easier. If you do not do this, it will be impossible to get rid of the creases.
