Evenweave is a type of cross stitch fabric that is made up of evenly woven fibers for a consistent finish that is easy to stitch. It is a good choice for those just starting to stitch "over 2." This cotton/rayon blend fabric is also called Jobelan.
A rich navy color, this evenweave fabric closely matches DMC embroidery floss color #823.
The fabric is 28 count. Evenweave is commonly stitched over 2 threads, which would give you 14 stitches per inch, the equivalent of 14-count Aida. You can also stitch over 1 thread for 28 stitches per inch.
(Please note the color shown may vary depending on your computer screen. The DMC floss equivalents are provided to help you assess the true color of the fabric.)
