Perforated PVC (Formerly Perforated Paper) - White
Wichelt's Perforated PVC is a sturdy, paper-like material designed for cross stitch and needlepoint projects that need more structure than fabric alone, think ornaments, bookmarks, boxes, and other finished pieces that hold their shape. It has the same evenly spaced holes as perforated paper, giving you a stitchable surface that can be cut and shaped into all kinds of projects.
Features:
- Even, consistent holes for accurate counted cross stitch
- Sturdy enough to hold its shape in finished projects like ornaments and boxes
- Needle and thread glide through smoothly, just like stitching on paper
- More tear-resistant than traditional perforated paper, so you can pull stitches tight without distorting the holes
- Available in 14-count and 18-count, in white
- Two 9" x 12" sheets per package
Stitchers familiar with Wichelt's classic perforated paper may notice the switch to this new PVC material. Wichelt made the change after running into manufacturing, supply, and equipment issues with the original paper. The new PVC was designed to closely match the look, feel, and stitching experience of the paper it replaces, so your finished projects will turn out much the same as always, just with a bit more durability built in.
