Evenweave is a type of cross stitch fabric that is made up of evenly woven fibers for a consistent finish that is easy to stitch. It is a good choice for those just starting to stitch "over 2." This 100% cotton fabric is also called Monaco.
Called 'Tea Dyed', this fabric isn't actually dyed with tea, but it has the same soft brown color as if it were. It's a great neutral background for both modern and traditional patterns. The color is similar to DMC #613
The fabric is 28 count. Evenweave is commonly stitched over 2 threads, which would give you 14 stitches per inch, the equivalent of 14-count Aida. You can also stitch over 1 thread for 28 stitches per inch.
