Create a personalized cross stitch design using the daily temperature at your home or other favorite location! Each little motif in this design represents a day of the year, and the color you use to stitch each depends on the temperature that day. The result is a cross stitch piece you get to work on throughout the year and that is unique to you!
You will receive two versions of the chart: one formatted for Leap Years like 2024, and one for non-Leap Years.
The daily motifs are small, so you only need to do 9 stitches per day. The chart includes a gorgeous palette of DMC colors that are mapped to specific temperatures, so it's easy to know which colors to use. The chart also includes a backstitch alphabet so you can add the location and year to the finished chart.
Based on a flying geese quilt pattern, this temperature cross stitch design is simple and modern. The finished piece is designed to fit in an 8" x 10" frame when stitched on 14ct Aida/28ct Linen. Stitch it for yourself or to give as a gift!

When I saw this pattern offered online I was so excited to get started! I immediately ordered online with an instant download that was so easy. With thread on hand I started that evening and look forward to the finished project. So easy and fun!
This is a fun project! Once a day, a few stitches, a great little piece of art! Biggest problem so far… is to check the temperature same time everyday!
I recently purchased the pattern for Flying Geese Temperature cross stitch. What a fun project! Especially living in Texas where it goes from 75 degrees to 35 degrees in a week. Lots of fun colors! The best part is there’s no working ahead. Every day you do 9 stitches and you’re done. Then you have to wait until the next day to do the next nine. A lesson in delayed gratification. I’m doing it on 20 count Aida and it’s going to be absolutely precious on December 31st when completed!

I love this project. It's helped me stitch more, because as soon as I finish one of the little geese I pick up another one of my WIPs and stitch the evening away.
