I am making the adorable stocking for my latest grandchild. I have really enjoyed working on a more modern design and the colors are so bright. I purchased the full bundle (floss, canvas and directions) which made it very convenient. All the stitch store in my area of Tampa Bay only sell very old fashioned traditional patterns. I’m stitching for the next generation and they want contemporary and bright!

I got the large size Flatly and I love it. I'm able to fit my project inside with no problem. There is a paper holder slot in the back, that is perfect for my patten sheet. When I leave my project in the living room, or throw it in my carry on, its the perfect size and does not take up too much room. I recommend this, but make sure you review the size of the folder to what your project is. Cheers!

Put your color wheel away, stitched modern has an expert eye when it comes to colors. Sometimes I will get my palette right, but others I am stuck with one floss color that's all wrong. They get it right and take the guess work out of choosing for that special project

I haven't tried it yet it scheduled for a future project. Dmc floss is my primary brand when doing embroidery and cross stitch projects. Most of my projects are gifts for friends and family so I really want a product that wont fade out or is cumberson to use.
