The phrase comes from Stephane Hessel's "Time For Outrage!," a pamphlet he published in 2010 at age 93 urging young people to fight injustice, which went on to sell 3.5 million copies worldwide in 10 languages. Hessel himself was a diplomat and French Resistance member during World War II, which gives the design extra weight for anyone who stitches it.
